Einuiea

Einuiea is a trip to the past, a musical trip of course. How far?…

Well the artists have two answers to this question:

  • One is down in history with the show "Tales from Byzatium" down to the mystical times of Constantinople. The Syrian influences, the early orthodox voice and some revived old music scrolls from those times are the ingredients used by the artists to recreate the atmosphere of an old and forgotten imperial court. Beyond these is also the use of old and specific instruments, baglamas, flutes and goat skin drums.
  • The other is a trip far east toward the sunrise. The show called "Japanese Stamps" also includes a slide show during the musical performance with images taken by the artists from their one month life span in Japan. The use of some japanese traditional instruments is also a must you have to see and listen during this show.

The musicians:

  1. Calin Torsan : flutes, string instruments
  2. Juan Carlos Negretti : percussion
  3. George Turliu : voice, baglamas
  4. Silviu Fologea : guitar, string instruments
